about agius colour interior designs
Our experience working in architecture, Interior Decorating and renovation designs for individual clients spans over 25 years. Serena practiced in the business, Eurotex Interiors, Mosman NSW. Residential decorating was our core service, however Serena also contributed substantially in the design arm of the practice on commercial and hospitality projects.
We build trust with you through our process of keeping you informed every step of the way to deliver outcomes of excellence. Contact us and we’ll be happy to give you references to previous clients. Be assured that our experienced team of trades people always deliver you quality work.
We use our network of furniture, fabric (imported Fabrics from Mokum) and technical equipment suppliers to compile designs for your interiors, with Italian lighting exclusively imported from Light Co. Communicating through samples, sketches and drawings delivers an accurate impression of
your Interior. We produce detailed docmentation drawings for design schemes and construction to communicate with builders and trades people. This assists our ability in consultation with you to explain design detail.
Being architecturally trained, we are able to quickly comprehend your plans and interpret your needs. Technical and initial design drawings are hand rendered. We find this has the advantage of assisting in the thinking process for your personalised, customised design and of being more accessible to our clients in communicating colouring and textures.
Serena Agius has two degrees with outstanding results. She has been a member of The Design Institute of Australia since 2017.
Our designs focus on creating unique flair that maximises the potential of your property. Our work is contemporary yet sensitive to architectural context – we are aware of current trends and guided by future ones.
We aim for environmental sustainability in everything we do, and are mindful of minimising waste. We always endeavour to use environmentally friendly, ethically sourced products and materials whenever possible.
We place significant importance on creating the design that reflects your preferences to harmonise with key elements of the space or building that you value.
Key loved objet d’art and special features of your environment find a place in our designs.
I enjoy the colour scheme, the care taken in selecting the blinds, and the choice of wall tiles. The design of the kitchen is first class. Uncluttered and clear lines along with ample storage. The island bench with a six burner integrated oven sits perfect under the most awesome rangehood. All in a relatively confined space.

I wanted to change the back section of our house to create more glass/light, a more modern look with custom joinery, a new gas heating system to warm the whole house and more storage. It was a difficult brief but Serena helped create detailed plans, get plans through council, find a builder (not easy in current environment), selection of colours/materials, advise on artwork etc.
In any project of this size there are challenges along the way but Serena has a very positive approach to helping us solve problems. Very understanding and responsive to client needs.
